Playing Catch Up

 Last weekend we returned to Nebraska for alumni weekend at Creighton and visited Grandpa and Grandon's new house.  We were very excited to visit with so many friends and family, and to visit our favorite zoo!!

Every morning we anxiously await to see Hannah's crazy hair when she awakes.  She has the most amazing hair, love that crazy girl!!

** a note to anyone who cares:)  this zoo trip was monumental for me since this was the first time I didn't take a stroller and only had to carry a few coats, kind of a sad moment for this mom, they are growing up way to fast!!

Adventure Girl!

Em was our little trooper, climbing, hiking, and exploring everything she could see and touch with no fear. We saw frogs, bats, a snake, squirrels, and fish. Great way to spend any morning!

The start of our hike this past weekend. Surprisingly there were no meltdowns and everyone mostly walked the entire time!

Last weekend.....

We took the kids hiking to some pretty cool caves. This one had bats in it, Hannah was the only one who would NOT go in.

We scored tickets to the game and thanks to my awesome main squeeze, he found a sitter last minute so I could go!!

Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

Today I made Rachel Ray's Chocolate Chip Banana Bread. I substituted the oil with applesauce and sugar with agave nectar. I also blended rolled organic oats for my flour and used gluten free organic chocolate chips. Somehow I'm trying to make this healthy but we will see, I'm just hoping my kids will eat it:)
